Notifications System
Our notifications system keeps you informed about important account events, service updates, and billing reminders in real-time.
Accessing Notifications
Click the bell icon in the top navigation bar to view your notifications. A badge displays the count of unread notifications.

Notifications Panel
When you click the bell icon, a dropdown panel opens showing:
Recent Notifications
- Most recent notifications listed first
- Read and unread notifications
- Timestamps showing when events occurred
- Quick action buttons
Notification Count
- Badge on bell icon shows unread count
- Badge disappears when all are read
- Maximum count displayed (e.g., "9+" for 10 or more)

Service Activations
- New services set up and ready
- Welcome messages
- Links to access control panels
- Upcoming renewal reminders
- 7, 3, and 1 day before due date
- Confirmation after successful renewal

Domain Registrations

Notification Details
Each notification shows:
Header
- Icon indicating notification type
- Brief subject line
- Time stamp (e.g., "5 minutes ago", "2 hours ago", "yesterday")
Content
- Detailed message about the event
- Relevant information and context
- Any required actions
Actions
- Quick action buttons - Direct links to relevant pages
- Mark as read - Acknowledge the notification
- Delete - Remove from list
Managing Notifications
Marking as Read
Individual Notification:
- Click the notification to mark it read
- Opens related page or resource
- Notification styling changes to show read status
- Click Mark All as Read at top of panel
- All current notifications marked as read
- Badge counter resets to zero
Deleting Notifications
Remove notifications you no longer need:
- Hover over notification
- Click delete/trash icon
- Notification removed from list
- Select multiple notifications
- Click Delete Selected
- Or use Clear All to remove everything

Visual indicators show importance:
Critical (Red)
- Service outages
- Payment failures affecting service

High (Orange)
- Upcoming expiration (24 hours)

Navigate to Dashboard → Profile → Preferences
Enable/Disable By Category:
- Service updates

- Immediate (as events occur)
- Daily digest
- Weekly summary
- Disabled
In-App Notifications
Control dashboard notifications:
- Enable/disable notification bell
- Sound alerts
- Desktop notifications (browser permission required)
- Auto-mark as read
Do Not Disturb
Temporarily pause notifications:
- Enable quiet hours
- Set schedule (e.g., 10 PM - 8 AM)
- Critical alerts only during DND
