Understanding Your Invoice

This guide explains how to read and understand your invoices.

Invoice Components

Every invoice includes the following information:

Header Information

  • Invoice Number - Unique identifier for the invoice
  • Invoice Date - When the invoice was generated
  • Due Date - Payment deadline
  • Status - Paid, Unpaid, or Overdue

Line Items

Each service or product is listed with:

  • Description - What the charge is for
  • Billing Period - The time period covered
  • Amount - The cost for that item

Summary

  • Subtotal - Total before taxes
  • Tax - Any applicable taxes
  • Credits - Any credits applied
  • Total Due - Final amount to pay

Invoice Statuses

  • Unpaid - Payment is due
  • Paid - Invoice has been paid
  • Overdue - Payment is past due
  • Cancelled - Invoice has been cancelled
  • Refunded - Payment has been refunded

Downloading Invoices

To download a PDF copy of your invoice:

  • Go to Dashboard > Invoices
  • Click on the invoice number
  • Click the Download PDF button
