Admin commands
Cheats, kicks, bans, spawns.
ARK's admin system uses a password — anyone with it has full admin control on the server.
Set the admin password
Panel settings → AdminPassword → set a strong unique password. Restart.
Authenticating as admin
In-game:
- Connect normally.
- Open the console (Tab on PC).
- Type:
enablecheats YourAdminPasswordHere
You're now admin. Run cheats and admin commands.
Common commands

Multipliers
ARK has dozens of rate multipliers — XP, harvest, taming,
breeding, mating, dino food drain, etc. Set them in panel
settings or in GameUserSettings.ini / Game.ini.
Common boost setups:
- Boosted PvE: 2x XP, 3x harvest, 5x taming
- Chill PvP: 3x XP, 5x harvest, 5x taming, 0.5x dino food
- Hardcore: 0.5x everything
Finding creature/item IDs
ark.gamepedia.com (now wiki.gg) lists every creature, item,
and structure with the ID. Searches are exact strings, e.g.
Rex_Character_BP_C for a Rex.
