Transfer Confirmation Notifications (TCNs)
The "your domain was moved" emails ICANN requires.
A TCN is an automated email ICANN requires registrars to send when a domain transfers (or changes registrant materially). You'll see them as "Transfer Confirmation Notification".
When you'll get one
- Inbound transfer to Suzko completed
- Outbound transfer from Suzko completed
- Registrant change (name/email/address) on a domain you own
What you need to do
Usually nothing. The TCN is informational — it confirms the change already happened. Keep the email for your records if you want.
If a TCN arrives for a transfer you didn't authorize, that matters. Open a ticket immediately. We can sometimes reverse a transfer within the first 30 days through ICANN's dispute process.
Where Suzko shows TCNs
Inside the dashboard, every TCN is also recorded on the domain's Compliance tab — same content as the email, with a timestamp. Useful if you can't find the email but need to prove a transfer happened.
